2121 Central Street
Kansas City, MO 64108
Built in 1910, this building was riginally
a production plant for the National Biscuit Company (Nabisco). The
massive brick ovens are still a feature in this building. The building
was later used as a warehouse for the Stuart Hall company.
The Freight House Lofts is the product
of a $24 million redevelopment that was completed in 2004. Every
effort was made to feature the exposed, arched ceilings, wood floors
and brick walls as they originally existed.
It now houses 127 one, two and three
bedroom loft apartments for rent. A variety of completely unique
floor plans featuring balconies and brick ovens are available, ranging
in size from 900 to 3,000 square feet. Rents range from $800 to
$2,500 per month.
This unique loft apartment building is
located in the historic crossroads freight district. Its state of
the art amenities package includes a fitness center, tanning beds,
Jacuzzi hot tub and a sauna. The club room features a walk out patio
and is filled with urban furnishings, flat screen televisions, billiards
and a business center with free-online access, fax and copy machine.
